The Ceremony

We'll be getting married on a cliff in Big Sur, we can't wait!

We don’t want to show you the spot yet, but it’s real nice. What we can tell you is that we’ll be in Garrapata State Park, just south of Carmel at the top of Big Sur.

We will do a little hiking: there's a short hike on uneven ground to reach the ceremony spot, so comfortable shoes are a must, flats or tennis shoes are your best bet (save the heels for later!). It is a fully cut trail for the equivalent of 3 or so city blocks, but with some brush on either side and one downhill section, around half a staircase’ worth of slightly steep dirt. We will be ready to help anyone down this section!

Dress code is garden party attire, and since we're right on the coast, come prepared for a little wind and bring a wrap or jacket just in case. As you can expect from G and E, it would take some REALLY BAD weather to keep us from doing this thing at the cliff site, so you may get wet!
